Hi, I am Gareth and I have been with Barking Buds since September 2022. I have a 15 year old mixed breed rescue called Lulu, and did obedience and trick training with her when she was young.

I am currently doing a bachelors in Canine Training and Performance at Hartpury university. I have a keen interest in learning theory and research in the canine sector.

I have a background volunteering at two local rescue centres and have completed an online animal behaviour and welfare course from the University of Edinburgh.

Alongside becoming a trainer I hope to continue my education, thus allowing me to conduct research with the goal of advancing knowledge in the training sector.
